From the enchanting landscapes of Iceland to the bustling streets of Tokyo, I've been fortunate enough to explore some incredible destinations over the past few years. Join me as I share my experiences, insider tips, and favorite places to visit in each city. This "list" is in the order I visited them in the past 10 years.

Iceland - Land of Fire and Ice:

Imagine a world where majestic waterfalls cascade over rugged cliffs, where geothermal hot springs offer rejuvenation, and where the northern lights dance across the sky. In Iceland, all these dreams become a reality. Don't miss the stunning Golden Circle route, which includes the geysers at Geysir, the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, and the historical Thingvellir National Park. Manila - The Pearl of the Orient:

Venture into the vibrant capital of the Philippines, Manila. Immerse yourself in the bustling markets of Quiapo and Divisoria, and don't miss the historic walled city of Intramuros. For a taste of local culture, catch a traditional dance performance or savor authentic Filipino cuisines, such as adobo or halo-halo.

Amsterdam - Where Quaint Meets Cool:

Bicycles whizzing by, picturesque canals, and vibrant tulip fields - welcome to Amsterdam! Discover the rich history of the Anne Frank House, explore the Van Gogh Museum, and take a boat tour to admire the charming architecture. Don't leave without experiencing the local food scene and indulging in some traditional Dutch pancakes.

Paris - The City of Love and Culture:

Ah, Paris, the epitome of romance! Stroll along the banks of the Seine, visit the iconic Eiffel Tower, and indulge in mouthwatering pastries at local patisseries. Explore the Louvre Museum to admire the Mona Lisa, and don't forget to take a leisurely walk through the charming streets of Montmartre. Paris truly exudes an enchanting atmosphere that will capture your heart.

Kyoto and Tokyo - The Essence of Japan:

Transport yourself to a world of ancient traditions and modern marvels in Japan. In Kyoto, explore the serene temples and gardens, such as Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Rome - A Timeless Beauty:

Roaming through the streets of Rome is like stepping back in time. Marvel at the grandeur of the Colosseum, toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain for good luck and wander through the ancient ruins of the Roman Forum. Indulge in authentic Italian gelato and pizza, and make sure to visit the Vatican City to admire the magnificent St. Peter's Basilica.

Puerto Vallarta - A Tropical Paradise:

Oh, how could I forget one of my favorite destinations? Puerto Vallarta holds a special place in my heart. This Mexican gem offers beautiful beaches, vibrant markets, and delicious cuisine. Take a leisurely stroll along the Malecon, indulge in fresh seafood at local beachfront restaurants, and embark on an adventure to the nearby Marietas Islands for snorkeling and exploring hidden beaches. Madrid and Granada - The Spanish Charms:

In Madrid, soak up the lively atmosphere in the Plaza Mayor, explore the renowned Prado Museum, and savor delicious tapas in the La Latina neighborhood. In Granada, wander through the enchanting Alhambra Palace, get lost in the narrow streets of the Albaicin neighborhood, and immerse yourself in the flamenco culture.

The Journey Continues:

With my accumulated airline miles from American Airlines, I have the opportunity to revisit Japan, a country that captivated me with its rich culture and breathtaking landscapes. However, the allure of Santorini, Berlin's vibrant scene, and the tempting allure of Sicily and Malta are also beckoning me.

Traveling is more than just visiting new places; it's a journey of self-discovery and broadening perspectives. Every destination brings new experiences, and I'm constantly in awe of the historical sites that have withstood the test of time.
