Things Will Change

What was that thing they say about not having a plan being the best plan? I think I am starting to believe that more and more as I get older. I've also realized that it's best not to put labels on anything (or anyone). That minute you think you've had something figured out - it changes! So what does this have to do with the image below?

I had originally intended this piece to depict a devil and an angel. But I struggled with the horns - which would have been easier if it was profile or quarter profile. It's harder for me to draw them straight, front-facing. So I scrapped that idea altogether and just settled for the image below.

Should I try again? Do you like it as is? Do you have any advice? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
