Day 25: A song by an artist no longer living

Damn it! I just answered this yesterday! 

Okay, but I wouldn't have answered TLC for this question anyway. There are so many answers to this - like obvious answers like Whitney, Michael, Amy, Kurt, etc. But I'll choose this one because it's Christmas and this song seems appropriate - although I still have a rule that I can't hear his voice early in the morning. It puts me in a depressed mood - and this song, as beautiful as it is, is depressing AF!

I also could have just chosen Leonard Cohen's version, but Jeff deserves this one because of my "No Jeff Buckley in the morning" rule. Also, could we retire this song from singing competitions already?
